We\u2019re simply exhausted.<\/p>\n
That seems to be the name of the game in these crazy, busy times.\u00a0 We want instant answers, instant solutions, instant everything.\u00a0 And we just don\u2019t have the time or energy to do it ourselves.<\/p>\n
So we pop a pill, take a vaccine, jump on the latest miracle-cure bandwagon and wish for the best.\u00a0 We\u2019ll do almost anything that doesn\u2019t require hardly anything of us.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, chronic and other disease, including among children, is skyrocketing.\u00a0 Autism has reached epidemic proportions.\u00a0 We\u2019re all seeking answers, but few are seeking responsibility.<\/p>\n
Fear is King.\u00a0 And those promoting fear, those pushing drugs, pushing vaccines, those advocating that we hand over personal responsibility for our health to the \u201cexperts\u201d are the power behind the throne.\u00a0 They stand to benefit as long as fear remains King.\u00a0 And we stand to lose both our power and our health.<\/p>\n
But is it possible to inject prevention or pop health?\u00a0 Is there any escape from the hard work and the hard decisions required for true wellness?\u00a0 Can we blame anyone but ourselves when we take the easy road and things go wrong?<\/p>\n
Real health takes considerable effort to achieve.\u00a0 It means drinking unpolluted water, eating uncontaminated, whole food.\u00a0 It means getting exercise and adequate rest. At its best, it means breast-feeding our infants and even toddlers. It means laughing, a lot. It means loving ourselves, believing we are worth the time and effort it takes to be well.\u00a0 It means slowing down.<\/p>\n
Most of all it means educating ourselves.<\/p>\n
The pursuit of real health requires learning about the true, long-term risks of each disease.\u00a0 Not the risk of contracting the disease, but the risk of suffering long-term consequences from it.\u00a0 It means investigating the long-term risks of vaccines and drugs.\u00a0 It means not accepting platitudes and unfounded statements as the gospel truth.\u00a0 It means expecting more and believing less.<\/p>\n
Fear will rule until and unless we take control of our lives, understand who benefits from our being fearful, educate ourselves about real risks and benefits, and demand better answers when the answers we are given are either unsatisfactory, unbelievable or don\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n
There is no easy way.\u00a0 There are no guarantees.\u00a0 For the sake of our and future generations, though, it\u2019s time to overthrow the King.\u00a0 Long live ourselves.<\/p>\n
